Consuelo De Andreis has turned her passion not only into a job, but into a true mission: years spent in the film industry have allowed her to get to know this world in depth, giving it back the faces of countless projects thanks to her beloved VOLVER.
In 2024 her agency turns ten, which have represented adventures, many sacrifices, but also many, many satisfactions. Consuelo rarely talks about herself, but today we have managed to make a breakthrough… But promising her to be brief!
Consuelo, at what age and how did you start working in the world of cinema?
I started working at the age of 23, raring to go, I wanted my independence: I had the opportunity to train with one of the greatest producers of the time, Angelo Rizzoli, who at the time was involved in both television and cinema. During the 10 years that I was at his side, I worked in film production and distribution. In the following 10 years I worked in Endemol in close contact with those responsible for fiction and entertainment, further refining my knowledge in the sector and that’s how I became passionate about this world with the curiosity to always want to know more.
Volver has celebrated ten years of activity: how did you relate to this milestone?
Have you always invested in your team?
Volver has been around for 10 years now and it is the number 10 that recurs in my life, after all it is also the number of captain Francesco Totti, Pelè, Roberto Baggio and Maradona… (laughs) To stay in football terms, I believe in the team and I am firmly convinced that “you don’t change a winning team”.
You will have met many people in these years, how did you approach a job that
depends a lot on self-control and is often prey to a thousand unexpected events?
I love diversity because it is only from those who are different from me that I can learn something more, enrich myself and evolve: I am a warrior and I never give up, I like to fight in life as in work. Obstacles are a reason for growth for me and once overcome, the feeling of lightness and victory that you feel is unparalleled.
What are the emotions that you think you share most with your actors and actresses?
What has experience on the field taught you?
Lightness, but also sensitivity, stubbornness. I try to communicate this to my clients, regardless of age, because the profession they have chosen is pleasantly bastard and bizarre, it doesn’t give certainties and sometimes puts you to the test, but passion is priceless and overcomes everything.

I will update you from time to time on the developments, since everything for me is always in constant motion…
