Alessandro Marzullo en

Director and Screenwriter

Born in Modena on May 27, 1993, he moved to Rome to study Performing Arts and Sciences at the University of Rome La Sapienza. After graduation, he creates a satirical web-series as an experimental project together with his classmates. In 2017 he wins the European Italy-Spain competition of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage Noi Siamo Il Futuro for directors and screenwriters Under 25 with Looped Love, presented at Alice nella Città. In 2018 he wins the Mibact’s call for scriptwriting for TV series with All You Can Hate, an irreverent TV series set in a restaurant. He works as an assistant director while being selected at the Malaga Talent Festival. In 2018 he wins the Yunus Emre screenwriting competition in Instanbul. In 2019 he starts working on the short film Unica, an Italy-China co- production, shot in Chongqing, acquired by Rai Cinema and presented at the Giffoni Film Festival in 2022. In 2020 he begins work on his first feature film Non credo in niente, which premiered at the 59th Mostra del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro.
