Graduated with honors in Art History from the Faculty of Humanities, University of Parma. Consultant for the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture from 2014 to 2018 and Commissioner for the evaluation of “Special Projects” from 2020 to 2022. Lecturer in screenwriting at the “Sole 24 Business School” from 2020 to 2023 and at the University of Studies “La Sapienza ”in Rome from 2015 to the present. As of 2024, he has signed more than a dozen short films. He was a finalist for the “Luciano Vincenzoni” award and winner of the “Oz Repici” and “Zerotrenta” best screenplay awards and the “Medusa Award” with the feature film subject “The Stowaway and the Elevator.” The short film he scripted “Destined Spouses Lo Giglio” won the Silver Ribbon for Best Short Film 2022. He wrote three feature-length documentaries for the production company Palomar s.p.a: “Bella Ciao – for freedom” (G. Giapponesi, 2022), premiered at BiFest and Bergamo Film Meeting, was selected at IDFA in Amsterdam and FipaDOC in Biarritz; “Semidei” (A. Cataleta, F. Mollo, 2024) presented at Giornate degli Autori at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, entered the cinquine of the Nastri d’Argento and on the short list at the David di Donatello; “I diari di mio padre” (A. Hasanovich, 2024), selected at Visions du Réel in Nyon, currently being distributed.
