Marta Storti has a twenty-year career as a screenwriter, having started out as co-creator of a crime series for Rai1, Il bene e il male. She has since written television films such as Una ferrari per due, Basta un paio di Baffi and  Tutta colpa della fata morgana, and headed the writing room at Publispei for two years. Following Rai1’s biopic on the life of Tina Anselmi, Tina Anselmi – Una vita per la democrazia, she began collaborating with director Luca Lucini, for whom she wrote Le mie ragazze di carta – a coming-of-age film presented at the Bifest in Bari; Io e mio fratello, a comedy for Amazon Prime; and Stella Gemella, starring Margherita Buy and Laura Morante, which was presented at the Rome Film Festival and is due for release in cinemas soon.
